Afloat
On all boats – sailing yachts, canal boats, river cruisers and houseboats with a 12 or 48v hybrid inverter, the device will turn on and off up to 3 connected devices avoiding the painful consequences of waking up to the inverter having shut down the entire system.
On The Move
Mobile-homes (RV’s), Caravans, & Camping Cars benefit from having a 12 or 48v hybrid inverter to manage their solar array & provide mains electricity to the vehicle. Our device provides up to 3 user configurable outlets that turn on & off connected devices at different user defined battery voltage levels, avoiding the pain of the inverter shutting everything down overnight.
On Land
Both on and off-grid land-based solar systems will usually have a wide range of mains powered connected devices. In summer this is probably not an issue, but is in winter when daily energy production is perhaps 10% of that of mid-summer. The solution is the SS Controller. It switches on and off up to connected mains devices at decreasing battery voltages. This makes it unlikely that users will awake to a home without electricity because the hybrid inverter has shut down.
